The Monthly Muse / No.9
September is the quiet shift into fall - the leaves beginning to change, the air getting cooler, and everything taking on those deep/moody shades of brown, olive, rust, and warm cream. It’s rainy afternoons spent inside with a record playing in the background, drinking a chai, and time slowing down enough to make things with your hands. The start of the ‘ber’ months means cozy corners, old books, gathered things, textured layers, and settling into the creative rhythm that comes with the beginning of a new season.
The Monthly Muse is a series all about moodboards. Each month, I gather inspiring imagery to create a visual composition and pull a color palette—a small creative exercise rooted in curiosity, beauty, and the simple joy of collecting what speaks to me.
