The Monthly Muse / No.8

August lives in the in-between—summer beginning to soften at its edges, while the first hints of autumn start to make their way in. The days still hold their slowness: bare feet, ripening fruits, salty air, and nowhere to rush to. But there is an earthiness beginning to emerge—deeper tones, dried grasses, weathered wood, a certain breeze. The air is still glowing and warm, but there is a shift in the light. A month of stillness and letting summer linger while quietly welcoming what is soon to come.

Welcome to The Monthly Muse, a series all about moodboards. Each month, I gather inspiring imagery to create a visual composition and pull a color palette—a small creative exercise rooted in curiosity, beauty, and the simple joy of collecting what speaks to me.
