The Monthly Muse / No.3

A collage of various images including flowers, bread, art, candles, a dessert, and a person in pants with a black top. There is also a poster with text about an art exhibition.

Welcome to The Monthly Muse, a series all about mood-boards. Each month I’ll be pulling together inspiring images to create a visual composition as a creative exercise, just for fun.

Spring! This months board is all about the start of a new season. Brighter days, flowers beginning to emerge out of the soil and pastel heaven. A happier palette coming out of a somber winter.

I love the combination of an organic/ribbed texture with a smooth glossy finish. They compliment each other while being perfectly opposite. Like a ruffled tulip in a glass vase. Or a scoop of fluffy vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil.
